Exciting English Learning Programs for Children
GlobalEnglish Kids is an online educational service that provides a fun, interactive way for children to learn English. The inaugural product in the service is GlobalEnglish Kids™, designed for 7- to 12-year-olds who are just beginning to learn English as a foreign language. The current offering, which can be used at home or in school, provides approximately 18 months of instruction.
The program is pedagogically sound, building children's confidence in speaking English.
Children learn best by doing, and GlobalEnglish Kids encourages a high level of interactivity. The presentation of new language is followed by ample opportunities to practice and produce the language, enabling children to develop confidence in speaking English. Designed with careful attention to the education standards of several ministries of education around the world, the program develops children's skills in speaking, listening, expressions, vocabulary, and grammar--the basics of English that will help them succeed in school. Throughout, the program delivers the content at an appropriate pace for each child.
The program is fun and motivating for children.
Through discovery-oriented adventures, children complete engaging activities such as games, songs, and stories. Children receive motivating, immediate feedback as they practice with the language. The interactive adventures include speaking practice and conversation activities that give children an opportunity to record and listen to their voices. Children earn online rewards--including star tokens, Adventure Medals, and Adventure Tools--that are used to progress through the levels in the adventure.
Personal tutors ensure success.
Through an interactive student management system, tutors always know how well their students are doing. The tutors offer guidance and ongoing motivation to help ensure students' success.
